What started as an attempt to understand my personal infatuation with celebrity culture turned into an exploration of my generation's infatuation with performance and image management. Using celebrities as the microcosm, I was finally able to give a deeper meaning to my interest in popular culture, uncovering what it means to curate and perform an image versus reflect who we truly are.
